House: Sun 6th

You can be guilty, if that’s the word, of hiding your light under a bushel. You instinctively feel the need to screen yourself from the public eye, reserving all your best qualities for a private audience; that is, for your partner, or those to whom you are closest. This can be both fascinating and infuriating to the world at large, depending on how far you take it. Fascinating is when you reveal the elusive mystery that surrounds you; infuriating is when you refuse to let your inhibitions go and allow yourself to shine. But shine you can and when you do, nobody forgets it, because they know they’ve had a glimpse of ‘soul’. On another level, you are frequently preoccupied with the detail of mundane life, the latter providing you with a means of keeping yourself hidden. Still, this is often your best way of moving forward, knowing as you do that in nurturing the little things, which greater things will eventually grow from them.

Your work, and service to other people are very important to you and it is in this area that you seek distinction. You can be an excellent worker and you take great pride in the work that you do. However, whether consciously or unconsciously, you demand outward gestures of appreciation and approval; if this is not forthcoming you may even go as far as to change your job. Your self-esteem and dignity are closely linked to the work and services you render. You more than most would struggle with unemployment, feeling that you would have no way of expressing your essential self.

Care should be taken with nutrition. Unless you have an extremely healthy diet, you would benefit from taking mineral and vitamin supplements. It is not so much a case of being unhealthy, it’s just that your body has a greater demand for nutrients and doesn’t always absorb the necessary amounts. The sixth house relates to integration and the fine adjustments of life. You can get lost in the details sometimes and spend too much time adjusting and monitoring the everyday ups and downs of life which others accept so simply. Too much of this can make your life drab and over routined: When it comes to dealing with, or rather helping others with their problems, your ability to sort it out for them really brings the positive analyser into the spotlight. Teachers and personal advisers often have the Sun in the sixth house.

You are a faithful, diligent and loyal employee who is usually helpful to fellow employees. Some with this position are domineering and develop a false pride with those they work with or for. You can be an administrator, but you may prefer to be an employee. If you are in a position of authority, be careful not to be the office tyrant. You are very happy when you are busy and you hate being bored. You take great pride in your work and your workplace. This is where you want to shine and be better than all others. Worry and anxiety, especially over the desire to do things perfectly, can be detrimental to your health. You need to learn how to relax and not let stress and tension get to you. With this position you should be especially careful to take good care of your physical body.
