One of the most important areas of your life is the home. Here you do all your best work, think your finest thoughts, and recharge your batteries most effectively. In fact, no matter what else you do in life, you have an instinctive need to return to your home environment in order to digest your experiences before setting off again. Home is therefore not just a physical setting for you, but one which provides all manner of emotional and spiritual protection as well. Without it you’d be at a loss what to do. Nevertheless, it can sometimes get the better of you in that you mightn’t want to venture into the outside world at all, for fear of disrupting the haven you’ve created for yourself at home.
The fourth house relates to the past, your domestic environment your family and your ancestry. On the psychological level is represents your emotional security and foundation in life. When you have a safe home, a good connection to your family and an emotional attachment to someone special, your sun really shines; every other aspect of life comes second. Staying at home too much can bring too much security, sometimes to the point where small insecure feelings and doubts about going out can grow to the point where you become reluctant to leave the cosy nest.
You desire to build strong inner and outer foundations, but, at times, you may have the wish to retreat from society when life becomes difficult. The influence of either or both parents is strong for good or otherwise. There is pride in the home and that is where you want to shine and show your creativity. That is where you can be the real you. You want to be king of your castle, but just don’t be too demanding at home. No one likes a dictator.
