You need the recognition and approval of others. Thus, you are not likely to be satisfied with taking a back seat. This does not necessarily mean that you clamour for attention, but it is attention that you’re seeking, and during the course of your life you will devise many ways of getting it. You might go on the stage, for instance, or you might just jump up and down on the spot! Whatever it is, you have a colourful and vibrant character, and one which needs a platform from which to project itself into the public eye. The desire for applause is, of course, by definition self-centred, and you must be careful not to lose sight of the fact that other people also exist and need their fair share of recognition, too. But you have the edge over many of them, in that you do have a sunny personality, and can indeed bring rays of hope into the lives of others.

You are important to yourself and will spend much time and energy on your own personal affairs. It’s not that you do not care about others, it is just that you have your work to do and it is very important to you. You want to shine and be noticed for who and what you are. You may want to lead or be in a position of dominance. You are confident, independent and responsible. But watch for tendencies to be power-seeking or dictatorial. Be alert to false pride and try to be more humble. Give proper credit to others for their contributions.
